The Mayor’s Office graciously hosted a special event to welcome Mr. Ledjhen O. Padela and John Maco T. Anub, accompanied by their families, as they represented Bacoor in the 50th Yamada-Ha Shito-Ryu Shukokai Karatedo World Cup & Gishinkan Cup held in Amagasaki, Japan on March 31, 2024.
In this prestigious international competition, Ledjhen O. Padela, a resident of Molino 1, secured a Gold medal in the High School Kata Division, showcasing his exceptional skill and dedication to the art of Karate.
John Maco T. Anub, hailing from San Nicolas 2, demonstrated his versatility and determination by achieving 3rd place (Bronze medalist) in the college Lightweight Kumite Male Division and 5th place in the College Kata Male Division.
The purpose of the courtesy visit was to express gratitude to Mayor Strike B. Revilla for his support throughout their journey and to showcase the honor they received under his guidance.
Held at the Mayor’s Office on May 31, 2024, the event highlighted the remarkable achievements of Ledjhen O. Padela and John Maco T. Anub in the world of Karate, bringing pride and recognition to Bacoor.
