Bacoor City, February 12, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor received a Plaque of Appreciation from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Regional Office CALABARZON, recognizing its valuable support and outstanding contribution to the successful implementation of OWWA programs and services for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families.
The plaque was presented yesterday, February 11, 2025, at Holiday Inn & Suites, Batangas Limapark, Lipa-Malvar Batangas, to PESO Bacoor Head Doc Abraham “BOB” De Castro, on behalf of Mayor Strike B. Revilla. The award was presented by Ms. Cha Lobrin-Satumba, a retired DOLE official.
Today, Doc Bob, accompanied by Ms. Salumba, formally presented the plaque to Mayor Strike B. Revilla at the Office of the Mayor. The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss the City Government’s ongoing efforts to support its constituents, particularly OFWs and their families. The City Government remains committed to working closely with OWWA and other relevant agencies to ensure the well-being of OFWs and their families.
