Bacoor City, January 15, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) headed by Ms. Lilian Ugalde and the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) led by Atty. Venus De Castro, distributed financial aid to senior citizens of Barangay Molino 4 today at the Bacoor Coliseum.
The event was attended by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Councilors Obet Advincula, Reynaldo Palabrica, Bok Nolasco, Rey Fabian, Alde Pagulayan, and Simplicio Dominguez, as well as former Kapitan Udoy Brillantes and Barangay Molino 4 officials led by Kapitan Jeffrey P. Campaña.
The financial assistance was provided to senior citizens as part of the “Kalinga sa Matanda” program, which aims to provide support and assistance to the elderly in the city. The program recognizes the valuable contributions of senior citizens to the community and aims to improve their quality of life.
The event highlighted the City Government’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare of senior citizens and ensuring that they receive the necessary support and care. The distribution of financial aid served as a testament to the City Government’s dedication to upholding the rights and well-being of all Bacooreños, particularly the elderly.
