Bacoor City, January 31, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla met with representatives from Cavite State University (CAVSU) today at the Strike Conference Room to discuss collaborative efforts aimed at promoting education and addressing bullying concerns among students.
The meeting was organized by the Office of Mayor Strike B. Revilla and attended by key officials from both organizations. From the City Government of Bacoor, Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Ms. Angie Carriaso, LYDO Head, were present. Representing CAVSU were Ms. Menvyluz S. Macalalad, Campus Administrator; Mr. Ronan M. Cajigal, Campus Secretary Head and Campus Research Services Coordinator, Practice Teaching; Mr. Zannie Gamuyao, Head, Administration and Support Services Coordinator, Property Management Unit; Mr. Nathaniel Necitos, Central Student Government CAVSU; and Mr. Joseph Ongliongco, Customer Representative, League of Gamers.
The primary focus of the meeting was to explore strategies for the “Balik Estudyante” program, an initiative aimed at identifying and encouraging students who have dropped out of school to return to their studies. Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed his commitment to ensuring that all students in Bacoor have access to quality education, emphasizing the importance of providing support and guidance to help them succeed.
Discussions also centered on addressing bullying concerns among students, with a focus on preventing and mitigating the negative impacts of bullying and fraternity activities. The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between the City Government and CAVSU in fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. The meeting concluded with a strong commitment from both the City Government of Bacoor and CAVSU to work together to promote education, address bullying concerns, and create a brighter future for all students in Bacoor City.
