Bacoor City celebrated its annual Barangay Day at the Strike Gymnasium on December 7, 2024, recognizing and celebrating the outstanding achievements of barangay officials, staff, and community leaders. The event, organized by the LGU Bacoor, was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Councilor Simplicio Dominguez, BM Rafael Paterno III, LnB Vice President Randy Francisco, SK President Palm Angel Buncio, Mr. Noly Galvez, and Pastor Mike Bautista. The event brought together 47 barangay officials, staff, and Lupon members to acknowledge their dedication and hard work in serving their communities.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of plaques and cash prizes to the following: the Cleanest and Greenest Barangay 2024, Best in Barangay Composting, Best in Barangay Garden, Best in Barangay Documentation, Best in Barangay Innovation, Most Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Council, Outstanding Implementors of CHILD-FRIENDLY Barangay, 15 Outstanding Barangay Secretaries, Top Performing Sangguniang Kabataan 2024, Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa for 2024, and Most Outstanding Implementors for SGLGB.
The Barangay Day served as a platform to recognize the valuable contributions of barangay officials and staff in promoting community development, upholding peace and order, and enhancing the lives of Bacooreños. The event also highlighted the City Government’s commitment to empowering barangays and fostering a strong sense of community spirit.
