Bacoor City, December 3, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, held a special “Kalinga sa Matanda” event today at the Strike Gymnasium, providing much-needed financial assistance to over 2,200 senior citizens residing in the city. The event was organized by the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD).
The morning batch of beneficiaries included senior citizens from Barangays Queens Row Central (578), Queens Row West (1,127), and Aniban 2 (571), totaling 2,226 individuals. The event was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Sangguniang Panglungsod members, Team Revilla, and Atty. Venus De Castro, OSCA Head, along with barangay officials.
The “Kalinga sa Matanda” program aims to provide financial support to senior citizens in Bacoor City, ensuring their well-being and recognizing their valuable contributions to the community. The event served as a testament to the City Government’s commitment to prioritizing the needs of its senior citizens and fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
