Bacoor City, January 20, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, today held a distribution of wheelchairs and a turn-over ceremony for an ice maker at the Bacoor City Hall Main Lobby. The event was attended by Sangguniang Panglungsod members led by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, and Mr. Edwin Guinto, head of the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs.
The distribution provided much-needed mobility assistance to Bacooreño Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens who require wheelchairs. The ice maker was turned over to a beneficiary, enabling them to start a small business and contribute to their livelihood. This initiative reflects the City Government’s commitment to supporting local businesses, particularly those that contribute to Bacoor’s growing tourism industry, like the renowned Digman Halo-Halo.
