Bacoor City, January 13, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, hosted a vibrant Flag Raising Ceremony today at the Strike Gymnasium. The event was a celebration of national pride and the achievements of the city’s residents.
The ceremony, co-organized by the Local Economic and Investment Development and Promotions Office (LEDIPO) and the Bacoor Public Safety Unit (BPSU), brought together a diverse group of participants. These included Sangguniang Panglungsod members led by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Team Revilla, Department Heads & Unit Heads lead by Atty. Aimme T. Neri, City Employees, DILG Family, PNP/BFP/BJMP/BTMD, DepEd Bacoor, OSCA Members, PWD representatives, and local NGOs.
The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt opening prayer by Mr. Arman Albesa, followed by the entrance of the colors presented by BFP Bacoor personnel. The Bacoor Unity Band provided a stirring rendition of the Philippine National Anthem, while the Strike Team Auxiliary Response Service led the recitation of the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas.
The event highlighted the achievements of Bacoor’s students and community members. Certificates of Recognition were awarded to:
– Alexandra A. Trias (Magna Cum Laude) of Barangay Kaingin Digman
– Aezelle M. Abellanosa (Cum Laude) of Barangay San Nicolas 2
– Bernadette C. Lim (Summa Cum Laude) of P. F. Espiritu 6
– Marie Katrina P. Salas (Magna Cum Laude) of Barangay Talaba 2
– Camille Ira S. Bomlarda (Magna Cum Laude) of Barangay Molino 6
Local merchants of Bacoor were also recognized for their contributions to the city’s economy. Jin Aishi S. Lariba of Saint Francis of Assisi College received an ISOCSEA award, and the Alliance of PWD in Cavite Incorporated presented Mayor Strike B. Revilla with a Certificate of Recognition.
Ms. Khei Sanchez and Mr. Lemour Melo, heads of LEDIPO and BPSU respectively, presented an AVP showcasing the accomplishments of their respective organizations.
The event also featured a special message from Ms. Revelyn A. Cortez, OIC Assistant Regional Director of the Department of Trade and Industry – CALABARZON, who shared her insights on the importance of supporting local businesses and entrepreneurship.
The ceremony concluded with a special message from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, highlighting the city’s commitment to progress and development. The ceremony concluded with a performance by the Bacoor Unity Band, playing the Cavite Hymn and the Bacoor Hymn.
The Flag Raising Ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the city’s unity, dedication, and commitment to excellence. It underscored the importance of collaboration and community engagement in achieving a brighter future for Bacoor.
