Bacoor City, March 17, 2025 – A vibrant Flag Raising Ceremony was held at the Strike Gymnasium, celebrating the unity and achievements of Bacoor City, as well as the birthday month of Mayor Strike B. Revilla. The event was organized by the City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, in partnership with the Liga ng Barangay (LnB), SK Federation, and ABAKA.
The ceremony was attended by a diverse group of participants, including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, Team Revilla, Department Heads and Unit Heads led by Atty. Aimee Torrefranca- Neri, City Employees, DILG Family, PNP/BFP/BJMP/BTMD, DepEd Bacoor, OSCA Members, PWD, NGOs, 4P’s Members, LnB, SK Federation, and ABAKA.
The ceremony featured a range of activities, including the opening prayer by the City Transportation Office, the entrance of the color guard by PNP Bacoor Personnel, and the performance of the Philippine National Anthem by the Bacoor Unity Band. The ceremony also included the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas led by SK Chairwoman Febie Jane Tupa, the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan by Ms. Keisha Nicole Ignacio, and the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas by Ms. Arlene Gayamo Ramos. The Quality Policy Statement was delivered by Mr. Hansel Gregorio. The Progressive Elementary School performed the Bagong Pilipinas, Cavite Hymn, and Bacoor Hymn.
The ceremony also highlighted the achievements of Bacoor City, including the presentation and awarding of winners in the 2025 Regional Athletics Meet (RAM) and the 2025 Regional Festival of Talents. Bacoor City had a remarkable showing, with seven winners from DepEd Bacoor in the RAM and eight winners from DepEd Bacoor in the Regional Festival of Talents. The ceremony also included the distribution of supplies from the BMIS, financial assistance to 15 ISF from Barangay Sinbanali relocated to Naic, Cavite, courtesy of the HUDRD, and a special message from Provincial Director Danilo Nobleza of the DILG Cavite.
The event included greetings from the Barangay Treasurer, Barangay Secretaries, STRH, CAVSU, and the SK Federation. The City Employees from the 2nd Floor performed a Tiktok dance. Greetings were also given by the CICRD and HUDRD for the Housing Project Beneficiary, and by the PESO. The Asosasyon ng Barangay Treasurer and the Asosasyon ng Barangay Kagawad (ABAKA) also gave special performances. The event concluded with a special message from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, highlighting the weekly accomplishments of the City Government.
The Flag Raising Ceremony was a testament to the unity and progress of Bacoor City, showcasing the commitment of the City Government and its partners to serve the community and achieve its goals.
