Bacoor City, January 21, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, continued its commitment to caring for the city’s elderly population with the “Kalinga sa Matanda” event held this afternoon at the Bacoor Coliseum. The event focused on distributing financial aid to over 2,000 senior citizens residing in Barangay Molino 6.
The event was organized by the City Government through the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), headed by Atty. Venus De Castro, and the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Department, headed by Mrs. Emiliana Ugalde. It was attended by Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, Councilors Rey Palabrica, Rey Fabian, Obet Advincula, Simplicio Dominguez, Alde Pagulayan, and Bok Nolasco, as well as former Kapitan Horacio Brilliantes, Kapitan Ronald Javier, and the Barangay Molino 6 Council.
The “Kalinga sa Matanda” event brought together senior citizens from Barangay Molino 6, providing them with much-needed financial assistance. The event served as a reminder of the City Government’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of its senior citizens and fostering a community where everyone feels valued and cared for.
