Today, through the initiative of JSUPT CHRISTOPHER R PENILLA, City Jail Warden, two (2) additional computer units were installed at the Tech4ED Center of Bacoor City Jail – Male Dormitory.
These computers were immediately put to use on Day 2 of the ongoing 5-Day Work Anywhere Course by CIVY Community in partnership with Preso Inc. This training is part of the continuous effort to equip PDLs with valuable digital skills and remote work capabilities, helping prepare them for productive reintegration into society and possible opportunities.
The additional equipment will expand access to learning opportunities, allowing more PDLs to participate in educational programs, gain technical knowledge, and build confidence in using digital tools—essential skills in today’s technology-driven world.
This initiative reflects the jail’s strong commitment to rehabilitation through education and inclusive development.
