The Sangguniang Panlungsod passed City Resolution No. 2025-668, s 2025, entitled “A resolution respectfully requesting and authorizing the City Mayor, Hon. Strike B. Revilla, to suspend classes in all levels whenever the heat index over the City of Bacoor, Cavite reaches dangerous levels.” which authorizes the City Mayor to suspend classes in all levels whenever the heat index over the City of Bacoor, Cavite exceeds 40° Celsius.
Based on this resolution and upon the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) in view of the forecasted extreme heat that might be experienced tomorrow, IN-PERSON CLASSES in ALL LEVELS in both public and private schools, are hereby SUSPENDED from Monday, 14 April 2025 up to Tuesday, 15 April 2025.
Further, you are hereby directed to adhere to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024, and shift to modular distance learning, performance tasks, projects or make-up classes as appropriate to ensure that learning
competencies are met.
Furthermore, you are hereby directed to ensure that all activities related to end of school year rites shall only be done until 9:00 in the morning and after 4:00 in the afternoon.
This circular shall take effect immediately.
