Bacoor City, July 8, 2025 – Habay Elementary School proudly hosted the unveiling of the Alumin Learning Resource Center, marking a significant milestone in the partnership between Bacoor City and international allies. The event was led by His Excellency Ilan Flus, Israel’s Ambassador to the Philippines, with his wife Madame Gila Flus and sister-in-law Madame Thalia Glazer in attendance.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla and his wife, Mrs. Chaye Revilla—whose support helped bring this program to Bacoor—alongside Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, City Council members, and representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd) graced the ceremony. DepEd officials including Dr. Alexander Morron Jr., Dr. Leonora Medina, Dr. Raquel Blones, and Ms. Jennifer U. Cruz, together with 28 elementary school principals and Barangay Captain Robert Castillo, participated in the celebration.
The unveiling symbolizes a shared commitment to enhancing education through improved learning resources and community collaboration. Thanks to MASHAV, Israel’s Center for International Cooperation, the resource center received essential materials such as bookshelves, learning materials, a TV, printer, and wall fans—all vital for enriching student learning experiences.
The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike, looks forward to nurturing more collaborations like this, ensuring that every student has access to quality education and the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
