Bacoor City, April 21, 2025 – The University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) hosted the highly anticipated Calye Culinary 2025: History Serve, a celebration of Filipino gastronomy that brought together culinary enthusiasts, students, and industry professionals. The event, held at the Fynn Boutique Hotel, featured an educational seminar and a thrilling cooking competition, showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of Filipino cuisine, particularly highlighting the culinary prowess of BacooreƱos, known for their exceptional cooking skills throughout the Philippines.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Dr. Jose Diaz, Dr. Manuel Calairo, Dr. Ismail Abaya Maharajah, Chef Kenneth Ramos Lotta, Chef Christopher Carangian, Chef Lealadina Monzon, Ms. Maura De Leon, Mr. Guillermo Ramos, Ms. Fey Mangulabanan, and Ms. Rozelle Sanggalang. The event also drew representatives from the Cavite Tourism Board and the Philippine Medical Association.
The highlight of the event was the “Pansit Langlang” cooking competition, where UPHSD students showcased their culinary skills and creativity in preparing this beloved Filipino noodle dish. Participants were judged on their presentation, taste, and adherence to traditional techniques.
