The Save Manila Bay – Bacoor Task Force (SMB-BTF) is currently holding its quarterly meeting at the Strike Multi-Purpose Hall. The objective of the program is to rehabilitate and preserve Manila Bay through comprehensive clean-up activities, effective waste management, and the sustainable resettlement of informal settler families.
Key agenda items include:
– Updates and status reports on Liquid Management, Solid Waste Management, Management of Informal Settler Families, and Habitat and Resources Management.
– Discussions on sewage and wastewater treatment improvements.
– Strategies for community involvement and awareness campaigns.
– Collaboration with local government units and other stakeholders to ensure the program’s success.
Leading the efforts is Mr. Rolando Vocalan, Officer in Charge of the City Environment Service Department (CESD), who heads the Secretariat of the Save Manila Bay – Bacoor Task Force, City Solid Waste Management Board, and Sewage and Wastewater Treatment Task Force.
