Bacoor City, April 25, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, through the Office of Agricultural Services and the City Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Council (FARMC) led by Mr. Allan Chua, hosted a regular council meeting today, welcoming representatives from the Integrated Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Council – Cavite (FARMC). The meeting, held at the Strike Multi-purpose Hall, aimed to foster collaboration and cooperation among stakeholders in the protection and management of the province’s marine resources.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla, along with Ms. Rhowena Alcantara (City Planning & Development Coordinating Department), Ms. Ceniza Feranil (Office of the Provincial Agriculturist and Fisheries Unit Head), Ms. Aimeen Latigay (BFAR Provincial Fishery Office Cavite), Ms. Rosandra Pangilinan (LGU Tanza), and representatives from eight coastal municipalities and cities in Cavite, attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on the importance of collaborative efforts in protecting and managing the province’s marine resources. Mayor Strike B. Revilla emphasized the City Government’s commitment to supporting the FARMC’s initiatives and encouraged open dialogue and suggestions from all stakeholders to ensure the sustainable management and restoration of the province’s marine life.
