Bacoor City, June 11, 2025 – Bacoor City successfully hosted a pre-Independence Day job fair at the SM Molino Activity Center today. The event, a collaborative effort between the City Government under Mayor Strike B. Revilla, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Bacoor, and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), aimed to connect Bacooreño job seekers with numerous employment opportunities. Key figures present included Doc Abraham “Bob” de Castro, Head of PESO Bacoor, and Ms. Khei Javier Sanchez, representing Mayor Strike B. Revilla and the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO). Several educational institutions and government agencies also partnered to support the event, including St. Dominic College of Asia, CSWD, the Sustainable Livelihood Program, the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta-Molino Campus, SSS, Bacoor City Jail, Pag-IBIG Fund, and PhilHealth.
The job fair attracted a wide range of participating companies, offering diverse employment opportunities across various sectors. Major participants included SM Appliance Center, SM Store Home, SM Hypermarket, SM Home For All Things Home, SM Fashion, Access Local Manpower Management Inc., Rice in a Box, The Medical City Clinic, Synergy Experts Labor Service Cooperative, Metro South Medical Center/SouthHill Medical Specialists Inc., Hydrosphere Environmental Corporation, Bridges Manpower Corporation, Generation One Resource Service and Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Alorica, Bossjob, Hi-Precision Diagnostics, PAREF Southridge School, Inc., Jobsite General Services Inc., Abri Commercial Inc., and Ace Hardware, among many others. The large turnout of participating companies underscored the strong commitment of the private sector in supporting the city’s employment initiatives.
This pre-Independence Day job fair demonstrated a significant step towards boosting Bacoor City’s economic growth by providing residents with access to a wide array of employment opportunities. The collaborative effort between the city government, national agencies, educational institutions, and private companies showcased a strong commitment to improving the lives of Bacooreños and strengthening the local economy.
