The Housing Urban Development & Resettlement Department (HUDRD), led by Atty. Aimee Torrefrangco-Neri, organized an Oath Taking Ceremony for the newly elected officers of the Urban Poor Federation Council District 1 & 2. The ceremony, held at the Strike Gymnasium today, June 24, 2024, marked a significant step towards empowering urban poor communities.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla officiated the oath-taking ceremony attended by 11 officers from District 1 and 11 officers from District 2, with Federation Chairwomen Pres. Jane Lucillo and Pres. Leovina Manzano leading their respective districts. Elizabeth Salabantes from HUDRD also witnessed the solemn event.
The event aimed to administer the oath of office to the newly appointed officers, symbolizing their dedication to serving and advocating for the rights and welfare of urban poor communities in Districts 1 and 2. This formal ceremony provided a platform for the officers to pledge their commitment to their roles and responsibilities.
