Bacoor City, March 11, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, celebrated the second day of its Moving Up Ceremony for children enrolled in the Bacoor Child Development Centers (CDCs). The event, held at the Strike Gymnasium, was themed “Munting Hakbang Tungo sa Maunlad na Kinabukasan” and showcased the progress and achievements of the children. The ceremony was graced by inspiring video messages from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, and Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, expressing their support and pride in the children’s accomplishments.
The Moving Up Ceremony, held in both morning and afternoon batches, was a joyous occasion for the children, their parents and guardians, and the CDC staff. The event featured a series of heartwarming activities, including introductions, welcome remarks, presentations of monthly activities, awarding of certificates, and the “Salamat Po” Award.
The Bacoor Child Development Centers, established under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, provide a nurturing environment for children ages 3-4.11 years old while their parents are at work. These centers offer a substitute mothering program, ensuring that children receive the care and attention they need while their parents are busy.
The Moving Up Ceremony was a testament to the City Government’s commitment to providing quality early childhood education and care to the children of Bacoor.
