Bacoor City, January 15, 2025 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla met with representatives from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) today at the SBR Conference Room to discuss updates on the 2024 Population and Housing Census (POPCEN) – Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Operation in Bacoor.
The meeting was organized by the City Planning and Development Coordinating Office (CPDCO) headed by Ms. Rhowena D. Alcantara. The PSA delegation was led by Ms. Lucia Iraida Soneja, Chief Statistical Specialist. Also present was Doc Ivy Marie Yrastorza, head of City Health Services.
The meeting focused on providing updates on the ongoing census operation, addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth and successful implementation of the program in Bacoor. The City Government of Bacoor, through the CPDCO, is actively collaborating with the PSA to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data collected, which will be crucial in planning and implementing development programs for the city.
The meeting highlighted the City Government’s commitment to data-driven decision-making and its dedication to ensuring the well-being and progress of all Bacooreños.
