Bacoor City, December 2, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, today distributed financial assistance to a total of 148 families affected by fire and infrastructure projects. The event, spearheaded by the Housing, Urban Development, and Resettlement Department (HUDRD) under the leadership of Atty. Aimee Torrefranca-Neri, demonstrated the city’s commitment to supporting its constituents during times of need.
The assistance, funded by the City Government of Bacoor, was distributed to 94 families displaced by a recent fire in Zapote 3 who have been relocated to Naic, Cavite, and 54 informal settler families affected by the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project who will be relocated to General Trias, Cavite. The event was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, and Team Revilla.
The distribution of financial aid symbolizes the City Government’s commitment to ensuring the well-being and security of its residents, especially those facing challenging circumstances. The financial assistance provides immediate relief and support for the affected families, allowing them to cover essential needs and begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
