The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, through the Bacoor Public Employment Service Office (PESO), today distributed allowance to 18 JobStart scholars at the Bacoor City Hall Main Lobby. The JobStart program, an initiative to provide out-of-school youth with skills training, job assistance, and financial support, aims to empower young jobseekers and equip them for successful careers.
The allowance distribution was led by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, alongside Coun. Alex Felizardo Gutierrez, Coun. Monching Bautista, Ex. Kap Udoy Brillantes, Doc Abraham De Castro (head of PESO), and Ms. Khei Sanchez (representing Mayor Strike B. Revilla and head of LEDIPO).
The JobStart scholars received comprehensive support, including free training, food allowance, medical assistance, and uniforms. The allowance distribution marked the culmination of their program, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
“We are proud of our JobStart scholars and their commitment to learning and development,” said Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, who personally handed out the allowances. “This program is a testament to Mayor Strike B. Revilla’s dedication to youth empowerment. We believe that by investing in their education and skills, we are investing in the future of Bacoor City.”
