July 18, 2024 – The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region 4-A paid a significant courtesy visit to Mayor Strike B. Revilla’s office, aiming to enhance technological collaborations between the city government and DICT.
The primary agenda focused on collaborative programs to enhance Bacoor’s technological landscape, including the Tech for Ed National Broadband Project, the Government Network Project, and an ICT training session for women scheduled for August 22, 2024. Additionally, Bacoor will host the Regional ICT Summit on August 23, 2024, and launch the Free Wi-Fi Project to improve community internet access and bridge the digital divide.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed his enthusiasm for these partnerships, emphasizing the transformative potential of these initiatives for Bacoor’s residents. This visit marks a pivotal step towards reinforcing e-governance and ICT initiatives in Bacoor, aligning with the city’s commitment to harnessing technology for inclusive development and improved public service delivery.
