Bacoor City – Mayor Strike B. Revilla received a courtesy visit from the members of Dragon Boat Philippines – Amateur Paddlers Philippines (AMPPHI) at his office.
The delegation included Lodgene Asuncion, the Management Information System (MIS) Head, Arjay Vasquez, the assistant team captain paddler, Julia Ann U. Jimenez, Aimeelene Rose L. Dela Criz, and Michelle F. San Gabriel from The Clubhouse Network Bacoor.
The purpose of the visit was for Ms. Julia Ann Jimenez, a member of The Clubhouse Network Bacoor, to personally meet with Mayor Strike B. Revilla and seek financial support for her upcoming competition.
Ms. Jimenez achieved an impressive 2nd place in the Boracay International Dragon Boat competition held on April 27-28, 2024. She expressed her gratitude for the support she received from The Clubhouse Network Bacoor and sought assistance for the Philippine Regatta Leg 2, scheduled for June 23.
The courtesy visit took place at the Office of the Mayor on May 21, 2024. Mayor Strike B. Revilla warmly welcomed the team and expressed his appreciation for their achievements in the sport of dragon boat racing. He assured Ms. Jimenez of his support and commitment to helping her pursue her passion.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla reaffirmed his commitment to nurturing and supporting local athletes, recognizing their dedication and hard work in representing Bacoor in various sports events.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Dragon Boat Philippines – Amateur Paddlers Philippines (AMPPHI) team to establish a closer relationship with the local government and seek support for their future endeavors.
