The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) paid a courtesy visit to the office of Mayor Strike B. Revilla.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla warmly welcomed JSUPT Christopher R Penilla, the City jail warden of Bacoor City Jail Male Dormitory, and SJO2 Jay Jay R Razal, Chief of the Administrative Section.
The purpose of the visit was to inform Mayor Strike about the establishment of Tech4Ed in the BJMP. Tech4Ed aims to provide educational opportunities and access to technology for the inmates. It offers free courses and skills training to equip the inmates with knowledge and skills for their future.
Mayor Strike expressed his gratitude for the BJMP’s efforts and support in implementing Tech4Ed. He emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for rehabilitation and skills development to promote the inmates’ reintegration into society.
The courtesy visit took place at the Office of the Mayor on May 21, 2024, at 11 am.
The establishment of Tech4Ed in the BJMP reflects the commitment of both the BJMP and the local government to empower inmates and provide them with the necessary tools for their personal and professional growth.
The BJMP and Mayor Strike B. Revilla are dedicated to working together to create a positive impact on the lives of the inmates, fostering their rehabilitation and contributing to a safer and more productive community.
