Bacoor City, June 27, 2025 – The City Peace and Order Council (CPOC), Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), and Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (TF-ELCAC) of Bacoor City convened for their joint second-quarter meeting today at the Strike Multi-purpose Hall. Mayor Strike B. Revilla presided over the meeting, which included Ms. Alice Bay, OIC CLGOO from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and PLtCol John Paolo V. Carracedo, among other key officials and members.
The CPOC presented reports on the accomplishments of the Bacoor Police Department (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), covering both male and female dormitories. Discussions also encompassed updates from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and other matters related to maintaining internal peace and security. The TF-ELCAC provided an update on its current initiatives.
The CADAC shared its progress on the Barangay Drug Clearing Program, the status of the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP), and the accomplishments of its Projects and Activities (PPAs) under the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS). Further discussions covered other relevant anti-drug issues. The meeting served as a vital forum for reviewing progress, identifying challenges, and coordinating efforts to enhance peace and order, combat drug abuse, and address TF-ELCAC concerns within Bacoor City.
