Bacoor City, April 21, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, in partnership with DOST-CALABARZON, signed a Memorandum of Agreement ( MOA ) today for the project “Enhancing Product Quality of Tahong Chips and Processing Capability of Bacoor Food Processing Center.”
The signing ceremony, held at the Strike Gymnasium, was led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Ms. Gilda S. De Jesus (DOST-Cavite), Ms. Emelita P. Bagsit (DOST-CALABARZON), and Ms. Carmelita F. Gawaran (City Livelihood and Development Department).
This project aims to improve the quality of tahong chips and enhance the processing capabilities of the Bacoor Food Processing Center, ultimately empowering local producers. The collaboration is expected to bring significant benefits to the local tahong industry, boosting the quality of products, expanding market reach, and contributing to the economic growth of Bacoor City.
