Bacoor City, October 19, 2024 – The second batch of Barangay Assemblies for the second semester of 2024 was held yesterday, bringing together barangay officials from across the city to discuss community progress and collaborate on future initiatives.
The assembly was organized by the Assosasyon ng Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), with strong support from Team Revilla. It was led by Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, with Ms. Khei Javier Sanchez representing Mayor Strike B. Revilla.
The assembly was graced by video messages from Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, and Congressman Bryan Revilla of the Agimat Partylist, demonstrating their strong commitment to empowering barangay officials.
A total of 24 barangays participated, including Queensrow Central, Queensrow West, Queensrow East, Molino 1, Molino 2, Molino 3, Molino 4, Molino 5, Molino 6, Molino 7, San Nicolas 2, San Nicolas 3, P.F. Espiritu 1, P.F. Espiritu 2, P.F. Espiritu 3, Maliksi 1, Maliksi 2, Kaingin/Digman, Zapote 1, Zapote 2, Zapote 3, Aniban 1, Ligas 1, and Ligas 2.
The assembly served as a platform for barangay officials to report on their projects, achievements, and upcoming plans. Each Kapitan also delivered their State of the Barangay Address, outlining their vision for the future of their respective communities.
This event highlights the importance of strong communication and collaboration between the barangay level and the city government. Through these assemblies, Bacoor City continues to strengthen its community governance and work towards the betterment of its residents.
