Bacoor City, December 18, 2024 – The Provincial Government of Cavite, in coordination with the City Government of Bacoor, successfully distributed cash assistance to 2,000 beneficiaries of Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino’s Women’s Welfare Program at the Bacoor Coliseum today.
The event was graced by Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, who represented Mayor Strike B. Revilla, who sent a video greeting to the beneficiaries. Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino herself was present, along with Mr. Jeb Tolentino representing Senator Francis “TOL” Tolentino, Councilor Karen S. Evaristo, Councilor Reynaldo Palabrica, Councilor Alde Pagulayan, and former Kap Horacio Brilliantes.
The cash assistance distribution was part of Governor Tolentino’s commitment to empowering women in Cavite. The program aims to provide financial support and resources to women in the province, enabling them to improve their lives and contribute to their families and communities. Many beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the assistance, sharing their plans to use the funds for starting small businesses, paying for their children’s education, or improving their homes.
The event included a raffle draw sponsored by Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino and Mayor Strike B. Revilla, offering exciting prizes to lucky beneficiaries.
