Jail officers of Bacoor City Jail Male Dormitory visited local elementary and high schools to offer free samples of freshly baked bread. This initiative aims to showcase the baking skills acquired by our PDLs through the BJMP’s skills enhancement and livelihood programs. More than just bread, each loaf represents a story of hope, rehabilitation, and the opportunity for a second chance.
The “Bars of Dough” bakery provides our PDLs with valuable technical skills and a source of income, preparing them for their eventual reintegration into society as productive citizens.
“Bars of Dough” is inching closer to a DOST-accredited. One of our visions is to support reintegration while lowering the cost of government nutrition programs through the use of PDL baking skills.
