The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena B. Mendiola, in partnership with the MWELL One Life priority project of Mam Chaye Cabal Revilla and the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), held a free medical outreach program on October 12, 2024, at the Strike Gymnasium.
Dubbed “MWELL STRIKE 2.0,” the event provided free medical services to 400 recipients, including daycare students and their parents. The program aimed to address the healthcare needs of the community by offering a comprehensive range of services.
These services included medical consultation, ECG (Electrocardiogram), laboratory tests, ultrasound, and free medicine. Qualified medical professionals provided consultations to assess the health status of participants. ECG tests were conducted to evaluate the heart’s electrical activity, identifying potential heart problems. Various laboratory tests were also carried out to screen for common health issues and provide valuable diagnostic information. Ultrasound imaging helped visualize internal organs, aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of various medical conditions. Finally, essential medications were dispensed to participants based on their individual needs and medical diagnoses.
The MWELL STRIKE 2.0 initiative highlights the commitment of the Bacoor City Government to promoting the well-being of its citizens, particularly the most vulnerable members of the community. By providing access to essential healthcare services, the program aims to improve the overall health and quality of life for daycare students and their families. This event serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders in ensuring the health and welfare of the Bacoor community.
