BACOOR CITY – The City Government of Bacoor, through the Office of the City Health Services led by Dr. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, Lions Club International, and The Fraternal Order of Eagles, successfully organized a four-day Medical and Dental Mission. On the fourth and final day, the event continued to provide essential healthcare services to the residents of Bacoor City.
Councilor Rey Palabrica, along with esteemed guests including Dr. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, Head of the Office of the City Health Services, Engr. Arsenio J. Guinto Jr., PFMJF, President of Lion Year 2023-2024, Nenita S. Secuban, RN, Chairman/Founder of Arkansas Medical Mission Inc., Dr. Roselle B. Guinto, LPT, 3VP & SFK Region 3 Coordinator, and Glenn Eusebio, President of BACOOR MEDALLION MATIKAS EAGLES CLUB Region -CCR8, graced the event with their presence.
The Medical and Dental Mission catered to participants from various barangays including Mambog 4, Bayanan, Molino 1 to 7, Queensrow East, Queensrow West, Queensrow Central, and walk-in patients from different areas.
Throughout the four-day event, medical consultations, dental extractions, distribution of reading glasses, and cyst removal procedures were provided to those in need. The services were made possible through the collaborative efforts of volunteers from the City Health Office, Cavite Medical Society Clinica Sarino, and members and officers of The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Bacoor Medallion Matikas Eagles Club).
The Medical and Dental Mission took place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on May 20, 21, 23, and 24, 2024, at the Strike Gymnasium. The mission successfully addressed the healthcare needs of the residents and showcased the commitment of the City Government of Bacoor, supported by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, along with its partners, in providing accessible and quality healthcare services to the community.
