Bacoor City, April 28, 2025 – The Local School Board (LSB) convened its meeting today at the SBR Conference Room, organized by the City Government of Bacoor and the Department of Education, headed by Dr. Babylyn Pambid, SDS – DepEd Bacoor. The meeting was attended by LSB members, Mayor Strike B. Revilla, and Atty. Bernadette Carrasco from the Office of Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla.
The meeting agenda focused on several key issues related to education in Bacoor, including a review of the allocation and use of Special Education Funds for the first quarter of 2025, discussion and proposal of new programs and projects to be included in the supplemental budget for the year, an update on the progress of the Histurismo video project, which aims to promote the city’s historical and cultural heritage, a review of the current status of school building construction projects in Bacoor, and open discussion and deliberation on other relevant issues related to education.
The meeting served as a platform for collaboration and coordination between the City Government, DepEd, and the LSB, ensuring that educational programs and projects are aligned with the city’s development goals.
