Bacoor City, June 16, 2025 – A flag-raising ceremony took place at the Strike Gymnasium, jointly organized by the Management Information Systems – E-Governance Department and the Bacoor Alliance of Pinagbuklod Inc. The event, held under the auspices of Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, brought together a large number of city officials, employees, and community members. Among those present were Councilors Rey Fabian, Adriel Gawaran, Mike Bautista, and Udoy Brillantes, as well as LNB Vice President Randy Francisco. The ceremony began with opening prayers offered by Pastor Mark Anthony Pobeda, followed by the formal presentation of the colors by BFP Bacoor personnel and a performance of the Philippine National Anthem by the Bacoor Unity Band.
Various oaths and pledges were administered, with Ms. Marilyn “Baby” Batilo leading the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, Ms. Kim Alem De Castro leading the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan, and Mr. Jose Paulo Oracion leading the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas. Ms. Marie Claire Pagasartonga delivered the Quality Policy Statement. The Harmonic Voice Chorale of Cavite State University, Bacoor Campus, provided musical performances, including the AVP of Bagong Pilipinas, the Cavite Hymn, and the Bacoor Hymn. Councilor Rey Fabina delivered the opening remarks, which were followed by an intermission number presented by the Bacoor Alliance of Pinagbuklod Inc. Following the Pinagbuklod intermission, Mr. Lodgen Asuncion presented an AVP showcasing the accomplishments of the MIS-E Gov department. A special address by Engr. John Philip B. Tan, Focal Person from DITC Calabarzon, followed. Further intermission numbers were provided by the MIS-E Gov staff.
Concluding the ceremony, Atty. Aimee Torrefrangca-Neri conveyed a special message on behalf of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, highlighting the city’s weekly accomplishments and extending Father’s Day greetings, with a special mention of the late Ramon Revilla Sr. The event showcased the city’s commitment to public service and community engagement, combining formal ceremony with musical performances and community participation.
