Bacoor City, June 4, 2024 – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in partnership with the City Government of Bacoor organized a productive meeting aimed at addressing key social welfare initiatives.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla spearheaded the meeting, leading discussions on crucial matters concerning the city’s social welfare programs.
The participants included representatives from various city offices such as CFD, CAD Assessor, HRDMD, CBO, CEO, CPDC, HUDRD, CSWD Nutrition, BDRRMO, DepEd Bacoor, PESO-OF-HD, ACCTG, CESD, Livelihood, and OCHS. Additionally, the DSWD-Pantawid staff engage in the meeting.
The agenda covered updates on the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps, discussions on graduating/exiting households, the Liksi sa Serbisyo Assessment Tool, concerns, opportunities encountered during program implementation, and other relevant matters.
DSWD expressed their interest in nominating Bacoor for the Liksi sa Serbisyo Award, acknowledging the city’s extensive programs benefiting its residents.
Mayor Strike emphasized the city’s continued focus on education and housing projects, stressing the importance of collaboration between the National Government and Local Government to extend assistance to Bacoor residents. Education remains a top priority, particularly in supporting the children of 4Ps beneficiaries to ensure their academic success.
