Bacoor City, October 17, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, held a meeting today to plan for a safe and orderly Undas 2024 celebration. The meeting, organized by the City Environment Services Department (CESD) headed by Mr. Rolie Vocalan, gathered key stakeholders to discuss and finalize plans for “Ligtas Undas 2024.”
Attendees included LnB Vice President Randy Francisco, department and unit heads, representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Transportation Management and Development (BTMD), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), barangay captains and officials with cemeteries under their jurisdiction, and representatives from 11 private and public cemeteries within Bacoor.
The meeting addressed various concerns, including traffic management, crowd control, security measures, and disaster preparedness. Mayor Revilla stressed the importance of coordination and collaboration among participating agencies and individuals to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors to the cemeteries during the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
