July 30, 2024 – The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, in collaboration with the Bacoor Office for the Development Of Cooperatives (COOP), organized a significant Cooperative Education And Transport Operations Seminar today at the Bulwagan Liga ng mga Barangay.
Esteemed resource persons including Pastor Mike Bautista, Ms. Vicenta M. Lazaro – Senior Cooperative Development Specialist and CB-CDC Chairperson, Ms. Elnie Palma – General Manager of DIATSCO, and La-Arnie E. Necesario – Cooperative Development Specialist, shared valuable insights with the 120 transport cooperatives present.
The primary objective of the seminar was to provide essential training to all Transport Cooperatives, evaluate and support the program renewal of the certificate of Good Standing, and introduce the diverse range of training programs offered by the Office of the Transport Cooperatives (OTC).
This seminar marks a pivotal step towards improving the efficiency and professionalism of Bacoor’s transport cooperatives, ultimately contributing to the growth and advancement of the local transportation sector.
