Bacoor City, July 8, 2025 — Cavite State University Bacoor organized a meeting at the Strike Conference Room attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, a member of the Board of Regents of Cavite State University, along with key representatives from CavSU Main Indang and Bacoor Campus.
Present were Dra. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, President of Cavite State University; Ms. June Abigail Dela Cruz from the Office of the Solicitor General; and Ms. Mennyluz S. Macalalad, Campus Administrator of CavSU Bacoor. The main agenda was to find solutions to increase the number of classrooms to accommodate more students, as the CavSU Bacoor Campus has reached its full capacity and can no longer accept additional enrollees despite high demand.
Mayor Strike expressed his concern over the many students, especially Batang Bacooreños, who are unable to enroll due to this limitation. He convened the meeting to explore ways to address this challenge and help more students gain access to higher education.
The discussion also focused on strengthening collaboration between the Bacoor local government and Cavite State University to support educational development in the city. This meeting highlights the city government’s commitment to improving educational opportunities for its constituents.
