The City Government of Bacoor orchestrated a significant Flag Raising Ceremony on the first Monday of June, with the event being hosted by theĀ e under the leadership of Ms. Emilie De Castro, in conjunction with the Strike Bacoor Rainbow Community (SBRC).
Distinguished participants from the Bacoor LGU, including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendioa, and members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod, were in attendance to partake in the ceremonial proceedings.
The ceremony featured notable guest speakers, Mr. Neil Ivan Quitangon from the Commission of Population and Development Region IV-A CALABARZON, and Ms. Marilyn F. Ogaya from the Commission on Population and Development Region IV-A CALABARZON.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Pride of Bacoor award to Ms. Julie Ann Jimenez, an accomplished athlete and member of the Bacoor Computer Clubhouse. Ms. Jimenez achieved 2nd place in the Love Boracay International Dragon Boat Competition and was a Quarter Finalist in the DB22 Premier Mixed standard Boat Category, held on April 27-28, 2024, at Boracay Island, Aklan.
Furthermore, recognition and awards were bestowed upon Chief Christopher Carangian. A video tribute was aired to honor the late Employee of the City Government of Bacoor assigned to the City Population Department, Tita Fred Malayao. Rest in Peace.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla was also presented with a Plaque of Recognition from BFP Bacoor in acknowledgment of his contributions.
The ceremony served the dual purpose of conducting the Flag Raising and presenting a week-long accomplishment report of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, outlining his plans and activities for the day.
The event took place at the Strike Gymnasium on June 3, 2024, symbolizing a moment of celebration and reflection on the achievements and dedication of Mayor Strike B. Revilla and the Bacoor community.
