June 4, 2025- The City of Bacoor made a courtesy call to Consul General Senen Mangalile at the Philippine Consulate General in New York, where Banda El Gobernador serenaded the Consul General and his staff, and in his message, Consul General Senen expressed deep gratitude for the visit of the Bacoor delegation and their musical performance, highlighting the massive turnout during the June 1 Sunday parade along Madison Avenue—one of Manhattan’s major thoroughfares—which brought joy, nostalgia, and pride to the Filipino community as the band’s music evoked memories of home;
Mayor Strike also delivered his heartfelt thanks for the opportunity to share the city’s love for music, while the city councilors, department heads, and staff expressed appreciation for being part of such a meaningful and unforgettable experience that will forever resonate with the people of Bacoor and strengthen their Filipino identity.
