Bacoor City, March 31, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, kicked off a special program highlighting the achievements of the City Livelihood and Development Office at the Strike Gymnasium today. The event, held as part of the ongoing celebration of Mayor Revilla’s birthday month, began with a stirring flag raising ceremony.
The ceremony featured a series of patriotic and inspiring performances, including opening prayers by Pastor Mark Anthoy Robeda, the Philippine National Anthem played by the Bacoor Unity Band, and the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas by Ms. Katherine Busa. The program also included the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan by Ms. Elsa B. Romo, the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas by Ms. Ma. Teresa H. Apinado, and the Quality Policy Statement delivered by Ms. Andrea Jimenez.
The event showcased the City Government’s dedication to promoting patriotism, community engagement, and economic development. The flag raising ceremony served as a reminder of the shared values that unite the city, while the livelihood program highlights underscored the City Government’s commitment to empowering its citizens and fostering a thriving community.
The program continued with a captivating AVP featuring the Bagong Pilipinas, Cavite Hymn, and Bacoor Hymn, performed by students from the Herman Harrell Horne Integrated School. Hon. Alde Pagulayan, City Councilor from District 2, delivered opening remarks, followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement and an AVP showcasing the accomplishments of the City Livelihood and Development Office, headed by Ms. Carmelita Fabian Gawaran.
Mr. Ramir D. Montoya, Training Center Administrator of the TESDA Provincial Training Center – Rosario, Cavite, served as the guest speaker, sharing his insights and expertise. The program also included an intermission number performed by the Livelihood Staff and a special message from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, outlining his weekly accomplishments.
