Bacoor City, May 19, 2025 – Bacoor City held its weekly flag-raising ceremony at the Strike Gymnasium, organized by the City Information and Community Relations Department (CICRD). Led by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, the ceremony emphasized national unity and efficient public service.
A diverse group attended, including department heads (Atty. Aimee Torrefranca-Neri), city employees, representatives from DILG, PNP, BFP, BJMP, BTMD, DepEd Bacoor, OSCAs, PWDs, NGOs, 4Ps members, the Liga ng mga Barangay, SK Federation, and ABAKA.
The ceremony included opening prayers (Pastor Jayson Humarang), the entrance of colors (Bacoor personnel), the Philippine National Anthem (Bacoor Unity Band), and recitations of the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas (Ms. Ana Leviste), Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan (Mr. Thon Bernabe), and Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas (Ms. Analyn Prodigalidad). Ms. Irene Limon presented the Quality Policy Statement, and the Bacoor Hope Children’s Chorus (Dra. Tina Alberto) performed the Bagong Pilipinas, Cavite, and Bacoor Hymns. Councilor Rogelio “Bok” Nolasco (District 2) gave opening remarks.
AVPs highlighted the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month (Proclamation No. 818, s. 2024) and the CICRD’s accomplishments (OIC Ms. Kristene Evangelista). The CICRD staff performed an intermission number. Vice Mayor Mendiola, representing Mayor Strike B. Revilla, delivered a special message and weekly accomplishment report. The ceremony demonstrated Bacoor City’s commitment to both national pride and effective governance.
