Bacoor City, January 17, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, in partnership with former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, distributed relief packs to fire victims of Barangay Zapote 1 at the evacuation center.
The event was led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, and Sangguniang Panglungsod members. Also present were Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos of Mandaluyong City and Barangay Zapote 1 officials led by Kapitana Vivian Gawaran Ramirez.
The relief packs, which included essential items like food, clothing, and hygiene kits, were provided to help the fire victims cope with their immediate needs. The distribution was made possible through the combined efforts of the City Government of Bacoor and the generosity of former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed his gratitude to Secretary Abalos for his unwavering support and his commitment to helping the people of Bacoor. He also thanked Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Congresswoman Lani M. Revilla, Congressman Bryan Revilla of Agimat Partylist, and Board Member Ram Revilla for their continuous support to the City Government’s initiatives.
The event underscored the City Government’s commitment to providing immediate assistance to those affected by disasters and its dedication to working with partners to ensure the well-being of all Bacooreños.
