Bacoor City, January 24, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, held a special “Kalinga sa Matanda” event this morning at the Bacoor Coliseum, showcasing the city’s deep respect and care for its senior citizens. The event was organized through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Department headed by Mrs. Emiliana Ugalde and the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) headed by Atty. Venus De Castro.
The event, which gathered senior citizen presidents and over 2,000 senior citizens from Barangays Mambog 3 (923) and Mambog 4 (1,154), was graced by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, along with Councilors Rey Palabrica, BOK Nolasco, Rey Fabian, Simplicio Dominguez, Roberto Advincula, and Mr. Horacio Brilliantes.
The event served as a testament to the City Government’s dedication to recognizing and honoring the contributions of senior citizens to the community. The “Kalinga sa Matanda” initiative reflects the city’s commitment to providing a supportive and caring environment for its elderly residents, ensuring their well-being and promoting their active participation in community life.
