City Government of Bacoor and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas led the official program launching of the Paleng-QR PH Plus

Bacoor City, Philippines — Today the City Government of Bacoor in collaboration with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has officially launched the Paleng — QR PH Plus Program held in Strike Gymnasium.

This project aims to enhance and create new opportunities for business owners and customers by providing convenient, safe, and fast services. This will broaden the financial footprint and enable the enjoyment of cashless benefits.

In the message of Mayor Strike Revilla he said that… “Layunin po ng PalengQR PH na gawing mas madali ang transaksyon sa pagitan ng mga kustomer at with the use of digital payments, o ang pagbabayad gamit ang mga digital device” which he also added that, “Four years ago, naranasan natin ang COVID-19 pandemic na nagpahirap sa buong mundo. At dito sa Pilipinas, bukod po sa nasaksihan at naipamalas natin ang diwa ng bayanihan — when it mattered the most — we also realized the importance of cashless and digital transactions noong mga panahong iyon. Pero alam po ninyo, natutuwa akong ibahagi na noon pa man, ang ating pamahalaang lungsod has been moving towards making Bacoor a smart and digital city.”

The program will continue to provide, “digitalization, financial inclusive education society, and strengthen the financial assistance.” Dr. Eli Remolona said, Governor of BSP.

City Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista — Mendiola and Deputy Governor, BSP, Ms. Bernadette Romulo – Puyat unveil the Official Paleng – QR PH Plus QR Code – as they both expressed their gratitude.

Ms. Romulo – Puyat expresses her gratitude in behalf of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to Mayor Strike Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista – Mendiola, Department and Unit Heads especially to the Member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members who passes the Joint Memorandum Circular No.01 Series of 2022.

Engr. Ariel O. Iglesia, CESO III, Regional Director (DILG CALABARZON) and Mr. Butch Napilia (Deputy Director, BSP), also expresses their gratitude and congratulatory message to BSP and to the City of Bacoor.
