The City Government of Bacoor led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla through the Office of the Veterinarian Services (OVS) headed by Dr. Ella Mae Gandia, conducted a successful vaccination drive and distribution of dog food on July 2, 2024. This initiative was held in the evacuation centers located in Dulong Bayan, Daang Bukid, and Banalo, aiming to protect the health of pets residing in these temporary shelters.
The program provided essential vaccines for both dogs and cats, ensuring they are safeguarded against common diseases. In addition to vaccinations, the OVS team distributed dog food, helping to alleviate the burden on pet owners who are currently displaced.
This outreach underscores the City Government of Bacoor’s unwavering commitment to supporting its citizens and their pets during challenging times, ensuring that every member of the community, including their beloved animals, is cared for.
