Bacoor City, Cavite – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, hosted a meaningful Flag Raising Ceremony on May 5, 2025, at the Strike Gymnasium. The event, organized by the City Cemetery Office in collaboration with the NGO Strike Communication and Multi-Function Group Inc., underscored the city’s dedication to national unity and service.
The event commenced with opening prayers offered by Pastor Sam Baldon of the Bacoor City Transformation Office. The BJMP Bacoor personnel presented the colors, followed by the rendition of the Philippine National Anthem by the Bacoor Unity Band. Ms. Aubrey June Parreno led the recitation of the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, followed by the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan by Mr. Ryan Lee Monzo, and the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas by Ms. Erika Jane Tapawan. Ms. Dianna Jay Gawaran delivered the Quality Policy Statement.
To add a festive touch, the Harmonic Voices Chorale of Cavite State University Bacoor Campus presented a vibrant AVP featuring the Bagong Pilipinas, Cavite Hymn, and Bacoor Hymn.
Hon. Reynaldo Palabrica, City Councilor from District 2, delivered an inspiring opening remarks. The ceremony also recognized two outstanding students: Ms. Marvic Mae R. Alegre, a Cum Laude graduate from Barangay Poblacio (Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Major in Marketing, Cavite State University – Rosario Campus), and Mr. John Elisha J. Bantolina, a Cum Laude graduate from Barangay Molino 2 (Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Maragondon).
Mr. Emmanuel S. Carmen, Head of the City Cemetery Office, presented an AVP highlighting the office’s accomplishments. The guest speaker, Mr. Enrico E. Dajao, Pollution Control Officer of Repatriation International of Human Remains and Torres – Escaro Funeral Service, shared his insights.
A special message from Mayor Revilla, highlighting the city’s weekly accomplishment report, concluded the ceremony.
The Flag Raising Ceremony showcased the unity and dedication of the Bacoor City government, its partners, and its community, emphasizing their collective commitment to public service and national progress.
