Bacoor City, March 10, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, kicked off Mayor Revilla’s birthday month with a special Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Strike Gymnasium today. The event was a celebration of patriotism, community spirit, and the achievements of Bacoor City.
The ceremony brought together a diverse group of participants, including Sangguniang Panglungsod Members, Team Revilla, Department Heads & Unit Heads led by Atty. Aimee Torrefranca- Neri, City Employees, DILG Family, PNP/BFP/BJMP/BTMD, DepEd Bacoor, OSCA Members, PWD, NGO’s, and 4P’s Members.
The ceremony began with a series of patriotic performances and speeches. The Bacoor Unity Band played the Philippine National Anthem, while FO1 Manilyn Aguinaldo led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Philippine Flag. FO1 Shane April R. Bundac led the Pledge of the Public Servant, and FO1 Erica Joyce F. Salazar recited the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas.
The ceremony also highlighted the achievements of Bacoor City, including the recognition of 37 Bacoor Public Students who were recently awarded at the R4A CALABARZON 2025 Regional School Press Conference (RSPC) held in Batangas.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Bacoor, led by FSINSP Precious V. Petalio, Acting City Fire Marshal, presented an AVP on the celebration of “Fire Prevention Month 2025” with the theme: “Sa Pag Iwas Sa Sunog Hindi Ka Nag-iisa.” The event also featured performances by the BFP Bacoor, PNP-Bacoor, BJMP-Bacoor, and Civil Society Organizations and NGOs. The Civil Society Organizations and NGOs presented a special number dedicated to Mayor Strike B. Revilla, showcasing their talents and expressing their appreciation for his leadership.
The ceremony concluded with a cake ceremony and a special message from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, highlighting the City Government’s weekly accomplishments.
The event was a testament to the City Government’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of community, patriotism, and service to the people of Bacoor. It was also a celebration of Mayor Revilla’s leadership and dedication to the city’s progress.
