The Bacoor City Transformation Office, in partnership with the Local Youth Development Office, organized “Training on Basic Counseling Skills & Mental Health Issues” for forty-two (42) BS Psychology students from St. Dominic College of Asia, who will be interning for the Strike As One TelePayo program.
The training was held on October 11, 2024, in the Bacoor Government Center. The BCTO volunteers are among those who participate. SK Federation President Palm Buncio and Ms. Angie Cariaso of LYDO share an inspirational message of support.
As we commemorate World Mental Health Day, reshaping the determinants of mental health frequently necessitates action outside of the health sector, thus promotion and prevention programs should include the education, labor, justice, transportation, environment, housing, and welfare sectors.
The City Government of Bacoor is committed to providing partners with strategic leadership, evidence, tools, and technical support to strengthen a community response to mental health and facilitate a change toward better mental health for all.
