Bacoor City, July 14, 2025 — The Bacoor Traffic Management Department (BTMD), in partnership with the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA), held a flag raising ceremony at the Strike Gymnasium. The event was attended by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod, and community leaders. The program opened with prayers led by Pastor Sandy Buendia, followed by the entrance of colors by PNP Bacoor personnel and the Philippine National Anthem performed by the Bacoor Unity Band.
The Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas was led by TODA District 2 President Roderick Arciaga, while the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan was recited by Ms. Leilani Ocampo. Ms. Alexandra Louis D. Morales delivered the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas, and Mr. Elaiza Cameros presented the Quality Policy Statement. Queens Row Elementary School performed an AVP featuring Bagong Pilipinas, the Cavite Hymn, and the Bacoor Hymn. Opening remarks were given by City Councilor Hon. Rogelio “Bok” Nolasco of District 2.
Intermission numbers were performed by TODA groups led by Presidents Buboy Navarrete (District 1) and Roderick Arciaga (District 2), as well as by BTMD staff. An AVP of BTMD’s accomplishments was presented by BTMD Head Ms. Leslie Dianne Morales. Guest speaker Atty. Noreen Bernadette S. San Luis-Lutey, CESO V, Vice President of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), Strategic Management Office (SMO)/ CXO, and Former Regional Director, delivered a keynote message. Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola represented Mayor Strike B. Revilla in giving a special message and weekly accomplishment report.
The ceremony highlighted the strong collaboration between Bacoor’s local government and TODA to promote traffic discipline, public safety, and improved transportation services for the community.
